For the very first time Jimmy Herring will be conducting a 2 Day Educational and Concert Series
11am-1pm: Studio orientation, guitar/amp warmups and test recordings (Manifold Staff)
2pm-3:30pm: Master Class (Jimmy Herring)
4pm-5:30pm: Jam Sessions (Jimmy Herring, Jeff Sipe, Neal Fountain, Matt Slocum)
6pm-7pm: Vintage guitar and amp showcase / discussion (Jimmy Herring, Terry McInturff, Richard Davis, Greg Germino, others)
7pm-8pm: Dinner and discussions with band and staff
9pm onwards- Concert
The general schedule is the same for both days–and subject to change as all things are–but each day will be its own event and each day will be amazing in its own right.
Capping off each day’s event will be an evening performance. For those who came to learn the theory, the evening’s performance will be your chance to see how that theory truly comes together in practice. It will also be an opportunity for those who cannot quite swing the all-day event to nevertheless be a part of this first-ever opportunity to experience Jimmy and his band playing their latest material inside a world-class recording studio. Even if you are coming only for the evening performance(s), you are in for a treat!
You are welcome to attend the 6pm Vintage guitar and amp discussion and to join Jimmy and the band for dinner (food will be served away from the studio to keep it clean). Because we operate a recording studio, not a nightclub, all drinks will be non-alcoholic. After dinner, we’ll return to the studio for the performance session starting at 8:30pm. After the performance, there will be a reception where you are welcome to take some photos with the band in the studio as a special memento of the experience. All will be finished by 11:30pm.
