Jam-rock stalwarts the Aquarium Rescue Unit have announced they will kick off their 13-city reunion tour of the U.S. on July 29.

Under the mentorship of Col. Bruce Hampton, the dream team of world-class instrumentalists will bring their distinctive brand of experimental and progressive rock to fans in cities from Boulder to New York. The Unit has also been a breeding ground for some of the genre’s best players, including bassist Oteil Burbridge, who went on to work with the Allman Brothers, and drummer Jeff Sipe, who has had a flourishing career with Phil Lesh and Bela Fleck, among others.
