One of the highlights of the 2015 New Orleans Jazz Fest season came on May 1, when Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe welcomed Wideespread Panic guitarist Jimmy Herring to jam with them at Tipitina’s. The pairing was amazing and won raves from many. Thankfully, it won’t be the final time the funk band and iconic guitarist share the stage.
Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe have announced a four-show run with Jimmy Herring scheduled for November 30 – December 3. The mini-tour starts at the Georgia Theatre in Athens on November 30. From there, KDTU & Jimmy Herring play the New Mountain Theatre in Asheville on December 1, the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte on December 2 and then finish down at Terminal West in Atlanta on December 3.
